If you want to get in the best shape of your life, the first step is asking for help. Whether you have short or long-term objectives, a session with our passionate personal trainers will inspire, challenge and motivate you to achieve your goals.

Jordan has been part of the C-Life family since 2018. He specialises in Athletic Development, Injury Prevention and Recovery, Starting Strength and Back Pain.

We asked him some questions so that you can get to know him better.

How long have you worked at C-Life?

Since August 2018

Tell us about your position at C-Life and what is your favourite part of your job?

I work as a Personal Trainer, Receptionist, Gym Floor Attendant and Class Instructor. My favourite part of the job is working with clients, and surprising them with what they can do, healing injuries and improving movement.

What made you get into health & fitness?

I was always pretty active growing up, and I’m currently studying Sports Science at university, so I thought it would be good experience working at C-Life.

You have worked with the Bulldogs, Waratahs and Sydney Uni as their Strength and Conditioning Coach. Tell us about the experience and your key highlights.

I work in the gym and on the field to prepare the athletes to do the best in their games. Highlights include winning the premiership with Sydney Uni Rugby, and navigating the muddy waters during lockdown in 2020 with the Women’s Bulldogs Team.

What can a client expect when they sign up to train with you?

Each session you should know more than you did coming in. I focus on big, heavy movement patterns that train the whole body in the most efficient way. I don’t care for making people suffer or ‘feeling the burn,’ I know what you can do, and I program appropriately.

What are some tips you can offer for those lacking motivation?

You just have to be better than last time. Even the slightest improvement is still better. Work from somewhere small and manageable, and don’t expect the world of yourself. You are going to have good and bad days, and that is ok.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

If you are laughing, nothing can truly hurt you.

If the C-Life crew had to describe you in three words, what would they say?

Glutes, perceptive and knowledgeable

When you are not working, what do you like doing on your days off?

As well as working I’m still currently studying a Masters in Public Health. When that is not on, I love watching stand-up comedy shows, music concerts, movies or anything where I can leave the house and spend time with mates.

What would you spend your last $20 on?

Sunscreen, so I can live on the beach
