Tell us about your role at C-Life
I am a personal trainer but you will also see me behind the desk and on the gym floor.

How did you get into the health & fitness industry?
I struggled with mental health and weight issues growing up so exercise and strength training was my outlet – it helped me find strength to get me through my darkest times. It’s a true passion of mine, and I want to help others improve their lives as I did with mine.

If you weren’t in this career, what could you see yourself doing?
I have worked in the fitness industry for 13 years and I have had small breaks but I always end up coming back. Honestly, I don’t see myself doing anything else.

What’s your motivation for working out?
For my mental health and the feeling of getting stronger.

What advice can you give to people who are just starting their fitness journey?
Everyone starts somewhere; it may be hard to begin or to get into a routine, but with consistency and discipline, your body and mind will reap the benefits. You are worth the effort and time!

What’s your personal best/record?
130kg 3 x 8 Barbell Hip Thrust

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
I spend all my spare time outdoors rain, hail or shine!

What’s your favourite cheat meal?
I prefer the term “occasional food”. I love ice cream!

What do you listen to when you train?
Juicy J, Pop Smoke, Lil Baby, DJ Khaled.

What’s your new year’s resolution?
Continue to support, educate and help others on their fitness and health journey.

Give someone a good reason to workout today
Change your perspective. Improve your mindset. Studies show that exercise improves mood, lowers depressions, boosts self-esteem, reduces stress and anxiety and improves sleep quality. The physical changes will come.
