MEMBER OF THE MONTH: MARCUS

What inspired you to join C-Life? How long have you been training here, and what keeps you coming back?
I have been a c-life member for more than two years now, which had initially inspired me to join the gym were my friends. They had convinced me to join the club. Funny enough what compels me to keep coming back is the familiar faces and new friends I have made throughout my membership at C-life!
What are your current fitness goals, and how are you working towards them?
My current fitness goal is to stay healthy and functional in my body. Having a great range of motions in all areas of my body, especially emphasising on how I feel everyday. What I am currently doing to achieve this goal is to stay disciplined and consistent in my training, eating and sleeping.
What’s your go-to workout or favourite piece of equipment?
It has to be dips and chin ups.
What does fitness or health mean to you personally?
To me, fitness and health is more than just physical appearance. It is definitely being able to have full functionality in all your body parts and healthy organs, especially the heart and lungs. Each body part has to be just as strong as the other.
Do you have any fitness role models or people who inspire you?
It has to be my mates: Harry, William, Ants, George, Dom, Harris and Zack. All these guys at the gym push me everyday to perform my best when I’m training with them.
What’s your favourite part of the C-Life community?
It’s the people, more so the vibrant energy as soon as you walk through the door. I have made a lot of close friends during my time here. People I regularly see in and out of the gym.
