Celebrating Father’s Day – Alex and Nick
This Father’s Day, we’re taking a moment to celebrate all the amazing dads who are a part of our community and who inspire us both inside and outside the gym.
This year we are featuring a father and son duo, Alex and Nick. We asked them a couple of questions about their fitness journey together.
How did you both start training together, and what inspired this journey?
Dad decided it was an important point in his life to join the gym after seeing me training for years. I knew that C-life was the best place for him to start his fitness journey where I could also teach and assist him.
What’s your favourite part about working out as a father-son team?
Being able to support each other and seeing the results. It feels great to both be able to see that we are getting stronger, and we are able to hold each other accountable- we know it’s a team effort!
How has your fitness journey strengthened your relationship?
We get to spend more time together which is hard to find these days. With busy lifestyles this can sometimes be the only opportunity to spend some quality father and son time together and it is a chance to catch up on the latest.
Do you have a specific workout routine or exercise that you both enjoy doing together?
We both enjoy training chest and arms. They are our most enjoyable workouts!
