CONGRATULATIONS TO RONDA N, C-LIFE’S BIGGEST MORNING TEA BAKE-OFF WINNER!
In the bustling halls of C-Life on Tuesday May 28, the aroma of freshly baked delights filled the air as there were a variety of cakes, pastries and treats on display at the Biggest Morning Tea and Bake-Off.
Thank you to all participants who competed and donated their delicious cakes and treats to the C-Life Bake-Off! They were all worthy contenders, cakes coming in various shapes, sizes, and colours – it was always going to be hard to choose the winners!
The enviable task of judging the bake-off entries fell on guest judges Bulldogs stars Josh Addo-Carr and Kurtis Morrin, along with Canterbury League Club CEO Greg Pickering and General Manager of Security Greg Swiderski.
It was a few tense moments of deliberation before the judges crowned Ronda Nassif first place with her delectable orange and coconut cake taking the show!
In 2nd place was Vicki K, with her Hummingbird Cake – a spiced pineapple-banana cake topped with cream cheese frosting and pecans.
In 3rd place was Vicki P with her Red Velvet cake, topped with strawberry frosting and freshly sliced strawberries.
