1. What do you do to stay up to date with the current fitness trends?
I do research and communicate with many of my colleagues who are fitness professionals within our industry. I also communicate with other health professionals such as Chiropractors and Physiotherapists. This keeps me well informed of all the latest trends.
2. What’s your hobbies/interest?
I love a number of different sports such as golf, rugby, and cricket, watching TV series on Netflix and spending time with my daughter.
3. What’s your fitness philosophy?
“Train smarter not harder” by incorporating simple and effective movements with intensity.
4. What does your own training program involve?
Strength training with supersets and Metabolic conditioning. This involves work rate designed to burn extra calories during training sessions with the intention of decreasing body fat and producing energy for any activity.
5. What’s the biggest challenge of being a personal trainer and how do you overcome it?
Early starts because I’m not a morning person. I have made this a habit by drinking plenty of water and eating clean foods to increase my energy levels.
