Q.1 Early mornings, late nights, or whenever you can – when do you enjoy training most?

My favourite time to train is right after work, around 6:30 p.m. I enjoy the familiar faces and the motivating energy at that time – it’s contagious in the best way. Evening sessions help me shake off the stress of the day and shift my focus entirely to myself and my goals.

Q. 2 How has the gym impacted your life outside of fitness?

C-Life has become a real social hub for me – it’s where I’ve made a lot of new friends. In between sets, I often find myself in a heated sports debate or caught up in a deep conversation, and honestly, that adds so much to my training experience. C-Life also introduced me to the café next door- the Bakehouse Café, which does amazing coffee and is where my buddies and I often visit after workouts to continue the chats and debates.

Q. 3 What’s your go-to song or playlist when you need that extra push?

I’m a big hip-hop/rap fan, so I usually listen to specific albums from that genre. I love the classics like Illmatic by Nas, The Blueprint by Jay-Z, and Kendrick Lamar’s Good Kid, M.A.A.D City. But sometimes, when I’m feeling cheeky, I’ll switch it up with some Britney Spears or Miley Cyrus!

Q. 4 Has there been a moment at the gym that really stuck with you – funny, awkward, or proud?

I’m really proud of myself for recovering from ACL surgery, with the help of Sid and Zak from iPhysio. I often arrived early or stayed back after appointments so I could do extra workouts for my knee right here at C-Life. The gym provided me with the space, equipment, and motivation to stay on track and get back on my feet. Rehab was tough, but successful.
