Meet Ian, a data analyst who likes to work out. He’s been a C-Life member for 19 years and exercise is his fountain of youth.
What’s your motivation for working out?
As I get older I have focused inclination to maintain a connection to my youth. This motivates me to workout passionately.
What does being a member of C-Life mean to you?
C-Life is my other family. The associations I have with the C-Life staff, all the lovely ladies in admin, the staff at the check-in, and the trainers on the floor are all special people in my life.
What fitness goals do you want to achieve by the end of the year?
My intention is always to maintain muscle mass and minimise body fat.
What’s your favourite post-workout meal?
A post workout protein shake is always quick and simple.
What’s your top 3 songs in your workout playlist?
Sam Smith’s Like I can, The Weeknd’s Save Your Tears and any Michael Jackson song.
Where can we find you when you’re not on the gym?
I’m still a working man, but am fanatical about gold and love watching TV.

What advice can you give to people who are just starting their fitness journey?
Starting out is the hardest part. Once there just do a little bit and over time just keep doing a little bit more.

The best reason to workout is it keeps you young and most importantly healthy.

Money is not that important in my life, if I won the lotto I would share it with my friends.
