- Your consistent attendance and group class participation has been outstanding. What keeps you motivated and driven to come to C-Life?
I enjoy the class environment, the participants and the trainers. Everyone wants to be there, and I have made lots of new friendships.
- How has your training program changed over the last 4 years since becoming a member of C-Life and what is your current routine?
I have thrown in a Pilates class Thursday morning to break up the high intensity part of my routine and the classes. I’ve found this to be just as challenging as I am not the most flexible, but am benefitting from strength gained through the different exercises.
- How does exercise benefit your life outside of the gym?
I like to attend the morning sessions with my daughter as starting my day with a workout clears my head and puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day.
- What advice would you give to someone thinking about or just starting an exercise program?
Stop thinking about it and take the plunge. You will find that exercise puts you in a good mood and you will meet some great people along the way that will keep you motivated and engaged.
- What is your favourite exercise or group fitness class and why?
All classes are great, but I think Super X, because no one class is the same and you are always challenged and it’s amazing how much you can push your body. Plus, Steve’s sense of humour.
