What inspired you to start your fitness journey in the first place?
Beyond building confidence and a body I was proud of, what really motivated me to hit the gym was the desire to bring in the groceries in one trip—at least once in my lifetime!
What does your current exercise routine consist of?
My workout routine usually consists of super-setting most of my exercises whilst chatting to Caston and my brother Steven to ensure maximum efficiency.
What’s one fitness misconception you had in the past, and what made you rethink it?
I used to believe in dirty bulking but now I believe if you dirty bulk, 9/10 you are just lazy. I know this because I was “dirty bulking” for most of my life. Just stick to a diet bro…
What’s one piece of fitness advice or a workout tip that completely changed the way you train?
Don’t always take fitness advice from the people around you because they might not be on the same fitness journey as you. Find what works for you and adjust your training to hit YOUR goals and not someone else’s.
Also, quality over quantity – don’t just count your reps, make your reps count!
