Meet Richard, a 79 year old retiree who has been a long-time C-Life member.
How long have you been a member at C-Life?
I’ve been a C-Life member for about 12 years now.
As a retiree, how do you keep fit?
I go to the gym about 4 times per week.
You train with your wife, do you train together or separately?
When we started at the gym, we both attended the Revive class, then I graduated into the main gym.
What’s your motivation for working out?
To keep fit and enjoy the health benefits as I has a 5-way bypass surgery in March 2009 and was recommended by the physio to exercise.
What does being a member of C-Life mean to you?
The friendly atmosphere and the huge range of equipment and being able to train with my mate, Neil.
What fitness goals do you want to achieve by the end of the year?
To stay healthy and build up and maintain my strength.
Where can we find you when you’re not on the gym?
Cooking and resting.
Do you do any classes, if so what’s your favourite class?
Spin with Mat and Blitz with Steve.
