MEMBER SPOTLIGHT QUESTIONS: Ben Sueni

How long have you been a member at C-life?

Rejoined the gym in 2016. Started at the Leagues Club using the very old gym upstairs which only had weights before C-life started.

Why do you enjoy C-life?

The people, staff and trainers. It’s the best place to go about your business, tune out and set my day. It has everything you need in a gym and it’s convenient for me.

What’s your favourite type of exercise?

A bit of everything. I like the high intensity stuff, HIIT, CrossFit. I don’t mind a bit of strength training as well.

Outside of the gym, how do you like to spend time?

With family. Also travelling and staying active with other sports.

What are your fitness goals and what are you looking to achieve?

To stay fit and healthy so I keep doing what I love to do, for as long as I can. Hopefully encourage my kids to live a similar lifestyle and so I can pass on my knowledge.

What is your favourite cheat meal?

A good Burger… and pancakes with syrup or ice cream.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT QUESTIONS: Lachlan Sueni

How long have you been a member at C-Life?

Since October 2022

Why do you enjoy attending C-Life?

I like training with my Dad who is an amazing role model and I like self improvement and improving my health.

What’s your favourite type of exercise?

Bench press, squats and leg extension.

Outside of the gym, how do you like to spend your time?

I love spending time with family and friends and playing sports

What are your fitness goals and what are you looking to achieve?

Right now I’m working through an injury strengthening my knee. My fitness goal is to get back on the footy field.

You have been training at C-Life with your father. Can you describe how your father has educated you and assisted you with your gym journey and what’s it like training with your dad?

I am fortunate to be trained by my dad as I start my fitness journey. He helps me be a better person, improving my health and passing on his knowledge about what he has learnt throughout the years. My dad also teaches me core values and understanding that if I am consistent I will see results. He teaches me what hard work is by showing me how hard he trains and that these lessons I can use in everyday life.

I train in the mornings before school, so he wakes me up. Ever since I started training at the gym, it is the best thing I could have done for my overall health and I am really grateful for dad showing me the ropes.

What is your favourite cheat meal?

KFC, Krispy Kreme Donuts, Island food.
