Members of the Month: Danny & Diana Kanaan
Congratulations to power couple, Danny & Diana Kanaan, C-Life’s November Members of the Month.
They have been training at C-Life for 13 years and recently introduced their son, Cameron, to the C-Life family.
How long have you been together and how did you meet?
Diana and I have been together for 21 years and have been married for 16 years. I met Diana at her 21st birthday party.
How long have you been members of C-Life and what inspired each of you to start working out?
We both joined C-Life 13 years ago when our first son Cameron was born. We were attracted to C-Life as it was a family-oriented gym.
What does your weekly training routine comprise of?
We train a minimum five days a week – a combination of weights, cardio and outdoor meditation.
They say couples who sweat together, stay together: what is your favourite experience training together?
A few years ago, we prepared and trained for the City to Surf. We continue to motivate each other by training and eating the right foods to lead by example for our three young boys. We enjoy our outdoor activities regularly as a family.
What are your biggest achievements since joining C-Life?
Introducing our eldest son to C-Life this year and hopefully his younger brothers will also join soon. We are very grateful to all the staff at C-Life for the outstanding service. Thank you!
What are your health & fitness goals for the next 12 months?
Our goals are to stay fit and healthy and build our core by picking up Pilates.

Diana: Running, boxing and leg day

Who is more competitive?
Definitely Diana!
What is your favourite post workout meal?
Chicken tenders, broccoli, sweet potato and a protein shake.

Danny: Amazing family woman

What advice would you offer for couples who want to start working out together?
Get a personal trainer to guide you the right way in your training and nutrition from the beginning and enjoy the journey from there. Never be afraid to ask questions.
