Angela joined the C-Life family 18 years ago and works in a variety of roles including Reception, Administration and Personal Training. Angela specialises in pre & post-partum (pregnancy), weight loss and strength training.
We asked her some questions so that you can get to know her better.
Tell us about your position at C-Life and what is the favourite part of your job?
I mainly work in administration, but I like the flexibility of working at reception and also training with my clients. Each role is rewarding, and I love helping our Members.
What made you get into health & fitness?
Watching Aerobics Oz Style (I’m showing my age) when I was a teenager and doing classes at my local gym. I always thought that this was a positive environment that I’d like to work in and I have never looked back.
What can a client expect when they sign up to train with you?
I like to look at the wholistic approach to training and letting clients know that it’s not only the one hour that they spend with you that will help them achieve their goals – they need to look at all aspects of their lifestyle which will contribute to their goals and success.
Tell us what inspires you?
All athletes as they are so disciplined. I’m a huge fan of the Olympics and the dedication it takes for athletes to get there. I love watching people from all over the world competing to be the best at their chosen sport.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
When you have 30 minutes of free time, what do you do?
Swimming, it’s the only thing that clears my mind.
If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?
I’d choose to be invisible and mess with people for fun.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
You’ll always miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.
