STAFF SPOTLIGHT: DENISE
Q.1 Tell us a little about yourself…
I’ve been playing soccer since the age of seven and currently play semi-professionally, so fitness and staying active have always been a huge part of my life. Over the years, my passion for the game naturally developed into a broader interest in health, training, and overall wellbeing. I love challenging myself physically, whether that’s through sport, gym training, or pushing myself to improve both mentally and physically.
Outside of training and work, one of my favourite ways to unwind is taking my two dogs, Taco and Sox, for a walk at sunset while listening to music. It’s the perfect way for me to switch off, recharge, and enjoy some downtime after a busy day.
Q.2 How would you describe your energy on the gym floor?
My energy on the gym floor is vibrant, upbeat, and approachable. I always try to create a positive environment where members feel comfortable, supported, and motivated every time they walk through the doors. Whether it’s helping someone with equipment, answering questions, or simply having a quick chat, I enjoy making genuine connections with members and bringing good energy to their day.
I think a positive attitude can make a big difference in someone’s training experience, so I always aim to bring enthusiasm and encouragement to the floor.
Q.3 What do you enjoy most about working with our members?
What I enjoy most about working with our members is the strong sense of community at C-Life Health Club. Everyone is welcoming, supportive, and encouraging, which creates such a positive atmosphere to work in. It’s rewarding being part of an environment where people genuinely want to improve themselves and support each other along the way.
I also love having the opportunity to help members work towards their goals, whether that’s building confidence, improving fitness, or simply creating healthier habits. Seeing members progress and become the best version of themselves is incredibly motivating and one of the most fulfilling parts of the job.
Q.4 If you could have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I’ve been really enjoying Asian cuisine lately, especially sushi, but if I had to choose just one dish to eat for the rest of my life, it would be beef pho.
