If you want to get in the best shape of your life, the first step is asking for help. Whether you have short or long-term objectives, a session with our passionate personal trainers will inspire, challenge and motivate you to achieve your goals.

JP has been part of the C-Life family for over a year and a half, working as a Personal Trainer and also on the floor. He specialises in sports-specific conditioning and performance, weight loss and hypertrophy.

We asked him some questions so that you can get to know him better.

What is your favourite part of your job?

My favourite part is getting to share a client’s results with them and getting to see how happy they are when they achieve their goals no matter how big or small.

Tell us about your health and fitness journey and what accomplishment you are most proud of?

My health and fitness journey started with changing myself. I was not a very physically healthy child and teenager, knowing I wanted to get into the health and fitness industry I had to change my lifestyle and be able to lead that lifestyle for those around me. My biggest accomplishment would be my own weight loss goal which was 43.5kgs in seven months.

How many times a week do you work out and what motivates you to keep working out?

I work out 6 times a week and my biggest motivator would be my past, where I’ve come from and how far I’ve come. I believe that once you start to see some results, it motivates you to keep driving for more and more.

What can a client expect when they sign up to train with you?

Once a client starts to train with me, they can expect a completely tailored program with advice on nutrition and exercise, as well as a complete buy in/commitment from myself – their goals are also my own.

Who is your inspiration and why?

I have a lot of people that inspire me, from people in the health and fitness industry to close friends and family. They all inspire me in different ways; to be the best version of myself every day and to know that nothing is out of reach so you just have to go after it.

When you are not working/training, what do you like doing on your days off?

I have various downtime activities like watching/playing sports and socialising with friends and family.

If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Definitely pizza and burgers.

If you were famous, what would you be famous for?

Sportsperson/philanthropist.

If you had to delete all but 3 apps from your phone, which ones would you keep?

Message app, Instagram and Spotify.
