Tell us about the time you had your car stolen in the car park at Lakemba?
Haha! Long story, Arthur told me to go home as I was feeling sick. As I left the club to go home, I stopped at Chemist Warehouse in Lakemba to purchase some medication.
The carpark in Lakemba was divided into two different carparks one upper zone and one lower end carpark. I parked my car in the upper carpark and walked through the arcade to the main street to go the chemist.
After purchasing medication at chemist warehouse, I returned to the lower carpark and started searching for my car that I could not locate. I assumed the car had been stolen so I rang the police and reported my car a 1993 Corolla stolen.
After several weeks I had not received any communication from the police about my stolen car, so I decided to buy my wife a new car.
Several weeks after purchasing a new car I received a phone call from the police informing me the car had been found!
Apparently, the car was still where I left it and surprisingly untouched with some cash and a few valuables still in the car.
We now had 3 family cars.
Till this day some of my colleagues still joke about it!
